Baxter von Baden is the most adorable 2-year-old mix of possibly Corgi/Cattle Dog. It’s hard to say, but his mixture is just too cute for words. He appeared on the street outside the rescue one day, and we couldn't resist such a pleasant little fellow. If you are looking for a small dog with a lot of charm and presence, Baxter may be the one for you!  Although deaf, he gets along very well.  He does great on leash, is always happy for an outing and goes potty right away (which indicates he is possibly housebroken). The social graces appear to be important to Baxter and he has mastered them well; he is open to meeting everyone, always wagging his little tail to give assurance of his congenial nature. He in particular meets small dogs well but is a bit apprehensive about meeting big dogs. This love bug is just beyond cute and endearing. He is easygoing, calmer,  loves to play with toys, does great being in a crate and is very cuddly. In fact, one of his favorite things to do is to lie on your lap and fall asleep. Naturally, being the socially well-rounded boy he is, Baxter does very well in playgroups. He goes in excited, loves exploring the yard and will wag his tail when meeting the other dogs. This irresistibly cute and well-behaved boy is ready to go to one lucky home - near or far - and make his new family the envy of the neighborhood!
